Anna.Null

Anna.Null

Concept for a Anamorphic Installation

2010

for Soundframe Festival 2011

“Anna.null” is a sophisticated visual installation, combining realtime video mapping with an illusionary, spatial effect, called anamorphosis- from a certain point of view, all the little pieces of anna null, which are distributed across the installation’s area, come together to form one cohesive object in space, whereas from any other point of view, the installation is burst into glowing, single pieces. A specially designed software gives us the possibility to exactly map onto all pieces of the installation, with a variable amount of projectors/objects. Furthermore we are able to use a representation of the illusionary object in our realtime animations, to amplify the anamorphic effect, for example by using virtual light sources.
